English test
All Math students are required to pass an English test or to prove that they have already passed an English test recently.
How to pass the test
The English test is organized by the Centro Linguistico di Ateneo. However, students who passed an "equivalent" test in the last three years are exempted from taking this test and are only required to proceed as indicated below.
Up-to-date information on the English test can be found on this webpage of the School of Science [in Italian, unfortunately]. That webpage also provides the list of certificates that are considered "equivalent" to the English test of the University.
How to record the result of the test
The results of the test will be automatically recorded for all students passing the TAL B2 reading and listening test. Students will receive an Open Badge at their email address (name.surname@studenti.unipd.it). The Badge is released by Bestr. Open Badges can be used in electronic CVs and in social networks.
The results of the test will be recorded via a Uniweb list only for students who enrolled during or before the academic year 2014/2015 and passed the TAL B1 test.
Students who passed an English test not organized by the Centro Linguistico di Ateneo at most 3 years ago can verify the "equivalence" of the test at this link and can then contact the office "Ufficio Carriere Studenti" (Lungargine del Piovego, 2/3).Contacts
Only in case of problems with recording the test result, students can contact prof. Alessandra Bertapelle, who, however, does not provide any information on the tests: those are organized by the Centro Linguistico di Ateneo.
