Algant

Students of the Second Level Degree in Mathematics can choose to participate in the ALGANT program.

ALGANT is a study and research track in Pure Mathematics through Europe and the world. The following institutions are members of the ALGANT project:

  • Université de Bordeaux (France)
  • Chennai Mathematical Institute (India)
  • Concordia University (Canada)
  • Universität Duisburg-Essen (Germany)
  • Universiteit Leiden (The Netherlands)
  • Università degli Studi di Milano (Italy)
  • Università degli Studi di Padova (Italy)
  • Université Paris-Sud (France)
  • Universität Regensburg (Germany)
  • Stellenbosch University (South Africa)

Associated partners are the following:

  • African Institute of Mathematical Sciences (Muizenberg, South Africa)
  • Centre de Recherches Mathématiques (Montreal, Canada)
  • Institut des Sciences Mathématiques (Montreal, Canada)

ALGANT has been selected by the European Commission as an Erasmus Mundus program, both for the Master and the PhD degree.

The students participating in the program spend their two years in two different insitutions of the ALGANT program.
