Master’s Degree

Choose your study path!

Build your own study plan from a wide offer of courses in theoretical and applied Mathematics.

Submission deadlines

The individual study program can include at most 12 courses (plus thesis and student seminar). The structure of the study program is described in this document

Study plans are submitted online on the UNIWEB platform within specific time windows (usually in November-December and April-May). Deadline vary from year to year and will be communicated to students via e-mail and announcements on the website of the School of Sciences. Notifications of approval are sent to students via Uniweb. Outside these time windows, changes are accepted only in special cases (e.g., graduation applications); in this case, changes should be made on the printed version of the study program and handed to prof. Maurizio Cailotto.

It is recommended to define the study plan as soon as possible. On the official deadline the plan will be formalised in its bureaucratic aspects. You can contact the Mentoring Commission for any request on non-standard study plans and, in general, for any question you might have regarding the definition of the study plan.

Every year, in mid-September, there is a presentation of all courses to help students make their choices.

ALGANT, MAPPA and Erasmus+ students have to follow a special procedure for the definition of their plan, which they will submit in agreement with local coordinator.

Formal rules

A study plan must meet the following requirements.
