The Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Mathematics provide theoretical, methodological, applicative skills in the fundamental areas of mathematics. At the end of their studies, students will possess effective problem solving skills and the conceptual competences needed for advanced research or application of mathematics in all innovation industries.
The students are stimulated to acquire knowledge of the academic and industry world through internships, seminars, meetings and dissertations also in cooperation with companies. Such experiences favour a quick, profitable and satisfactory integration in every professional framework.
The Bachelor of Science in Mathematics aims to provide a sound preparation in the mathematical disciplines, offering students the opportunity to become acquainted with their modern formulation and to become familiar with various aspects of the subject, general, methodological and applied.

Il Programma di Dottorato offre una formazione di alta qualificazione e un’opportunità di ricerca in tutte le tematiche rappresentate nel Dipartimento, che comprendono l’Algebra, la Geometria, l’Analisi, la Logica e la Fisica Matematica, per l’area Matematica, e la Finanza Matematica, l’Analisi Numerica, l’Ottimizzazione e la Probabilità, per l’area Matematica Computazionale.
The PhD Program offers a high qualification training and research opportunity in all the research areas represented in the Department, that include Algebra, Geometry, Mathematical Analysis, Mathematical Logic, and Mathematical Physics, for the Mathematics area, and Mathematical Finance, Numerical Analysis, Optimization, and Probability, for the Computational Mathematics area.
