English test

All Math students are required to pass an English test or to prove that they have already passed an English test recently.

How to pass the test

The English test is organized by the Centro Linguistico di Ateneo. However, students who passed an "equivalent" test in the last three years are exempted from taking this test and are only required to proceed as indicated below.

Up-to-date information on the English test can be found on this webpage of the School of Science [in Italian, unfortunately]. That webpage also provides the list of certificates that are considered "equivalent" to the English test of the University.

How to record the test result

Test results are officially recorded during the ordinary exam sessions. To do so, students are required to register via Uniweb, as is the case with all other exams.

  • Students who passed the English test of the Centro Linguistico di Ateneo do not need to do anything else after registering via Uniweb.
  • Students with an equivalent certificate need to show up with their certificate on the day indicated in the exam list.

Contacts

Only in case of problems with recording the test result, students can contact prof. Alessandra Bertapelle, who, however, does not provide any information on the tests: those are organized by the Centro Linguistico di Ateneo.
